Good evening folks and how was Sunday service today, mine was blessful and awesome.

I need to share this with us and trust it gonna be blessful.

How it empowers you.

you might have been guessing and thinking about who or what it may be?

Friends I will be talking about “The Holy Spirit ”

Few points I know that will transcend your live, just be patient and read through.

Who is the Holy Spirit,Why the Holy Spirit and the function or working of the Holy Spirit? Guess that should be few questions that might have been running through your mind.

*The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of the living God.

Matthew 3:16(NIV)
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.

**The Holy Spirit is a person,having the personality of God. He can feel as human being Romans 8:26

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

**The spirit of God is the Holy Spirit.

In John 15 and 16 Jesus laid emphasis about the Holy Spirit (it’s promise) and how he will come to comfort, guide, lead,teach us all things after he had gone to the Father.

The Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is of great benefit to us all.

The apostles attest to this after he had gone to the heaven.Yes he said that before he went in the book of John 16:7

“But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you“.

***The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth.

John 16:13

13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

When he went to heaven he resurrected has he had promised but seeing his disciples as weak, weary, disturbed not doing what he has committed them to do.

He came to Peter

John 21:15

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”

“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”

17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”

He saw them weary and talked to their leader Peter asking him a simple question that I will be asking you too “Do you love me”?

Jesus knew if Peter had loved him he would have know the will of the father towards them all,knowing what is next in accomplish the great commission. But since the spirit to empower ,to ignite is not in motion (to manifest), weariness set in.

Since their love as waxed cold they all become weak, feeble and worried, they losed hope.

Without the Holy Spirit in your life,the things the disciples experienced same you will experience too. So better you permit him into your life now.

Your five senses are not smart enough to face life obstacles, your brain is limited but the Holy spirit is God unlimited in us.

Glory to Jesus.

****Through the spirit of God we should know that we are sons of God.

Romans 8:14

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God”

let me stop here for today.

*****The Holy Spirit empowers us Acts 1:8

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Think about this things.You need him(Holy spirit ) and without you accepting the lordship of Jesus you cannot have him.

*Are you born -Again?

**Do you want to submit your totality to Jesus Christ and enjoy this benefits?

for all have sinned and short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

kindly acknowledge that you are a sinner and say the following prayer point as stated below.

Say them with boldness believing is saving power is available.

**Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus .i believe with my heart and boldly confess the lordship of Jesus over my life.I believe that God raised him from the dead to give me a new life. Thank you Lord.

***Say this loudly and put the devil to shame,”I am now Reborn! I am a Christian, a child of God! I am saved and his spirit now abides and dwells in me because am now a new creation.Thank you Lord.Amen.
